Mommy/Daddy & Me, TIpToes, Tutus & MakeBelieve, Preschool Ballet, Preschool Tap, Discovering Dance & Fairytale Ballet Adventures Workshops

Classes Offered

The Cleveland Ballet Conservatory’s specially designed preschool division curriculum paired with our Fairytale Ballet Adventures Program is the perfect first dance experience for your 2-5 year old dancer. Your child’s natural desire to dance will come alive in our exciting classes introducing basic dance techniques. We introduce ballet foundations with the use of dance games and props encouraging your child’s imagination to soar! Children will develop gross motor skills, spatial awareness, grace, poise, and balance while inspiring their creative minds.

Ages 2-5

Preschool Division

Ballet Technique, Jazz, Modern Dance, Tap, Kids Hip-Hop & Performing Company

Classes Offered

Cleveland Ballet Conservatory’s carefully designed Primary Division curriculum focuses on the early development of classical ballet technique. Students entering this division have completed Preschool Division classes or have entered into first grade without prior dance experience. Through flexibility training, barre exercises and floor technique students will develop the foundational skills for future intermediate/advanced dance training. Students in this division may add Tap, Jazz and Modern techniques to their class schedule in this division.

Ballet Technique, Pre-Pointe, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Modern Dance, Contemporary & Hip-Hop.

Classes Offered

The Progressive DIvision at CBC focuses on the continued development of classical ballet technique. Students entering this division have completed Primary Division prerequisite classes and/or received teacher recommendation to be promoted to this division. Through barre exercises, flexibility training, and floor technique students will focus on strength and artistry. This division includes both graded and recreational class levels.  Graded level students are required to maintain full programming in their designated level.

Ballet Technique, Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, Modern Dance, Pointe, Variations, Conditioning, Pilates & Repertoire

Classes Offered

The Pre-Professional Division at CBC focuses on the further development of technical proficiency, strength, flexibility, artistry, pointe technique and knowledge of classical repertoire. Students entering this division are serious or career minded dancers that have aspirations to join a professional company or attend a college/university dance program. Pre-Professional Division enrollment requires prerequisite classes and teacher recommendation.

At this time, masks are optional for all students and faculty members.
